These terms are an agreement between your business and KALCOM MARKET PLACE ("KALCOM", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you accept them.
KALCOM MARKET PLACE is web-based point-of-sale software for provision shops, pharmacies, and general stores. It records sales, tracks stock and expiry, supports offline selling with automatic sync, and accepts mobile money payments through your own Paystack account. We provide the software; the business decisions, prices, and records remain yours.
New businesses receive a free trial with full features and no card required. When the trial ends, the account is locked until a subscription is purchased — your data is retained and becomes accessible again the moment you subscribe.
Customer MoMo payments at your till go through your own Paystack account and settle directly to you. KALCOM never holds or routes your sales money. You are responsible for the accuracy of your Paystack setup and for any "Manual MoMo" sales your cashiers record without electronic verification.
Your business data — products, sales, staff, reports — belongs to your business. We host and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data your business enters, including drug information and dosage notes in pharmacy shops.
We work to keep the platform available at all times, and the offline till is designed to keep you selling through network outages. However, the service is provided "as is" — we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, and scheduled maintenance may occasionally be required.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KALCOM's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, or for losses caused by incorrect data entered by your business, device failure, or your internet connection.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the platform, or present a security risk. You may stop using the service at any time; your subscription remains valid until its end date. On closure, you may request an export or deletion of your business data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Partners who refer businesses earn commissions on those businesses' subscription payments, at the rates shown in the partner dashboard. Commissions are payable to the partner's registered mobile money account. Self-referrals, fake registrations, or misleading promotion may result in forfeiture of commissions and removal from the program.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced by email or platform message, and the date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
